If you had to start from scratch in a new place, what would you like to find? How do we change the narrative in the stories of migrants and refugees?
We believe that to live in a more empathetic, inclusive and peaceful society, we need to meet and see what we have in common, even in those things we disagree on the most. We need to meet people who empower us and make us value who we are, what our origins are and how we can add value wherever we are.
Desarrollamos este proyecto que tuvo tres pilares fundamentales:
URBAN ARTWe joined forces with urban artist SebaCener, who seeks to challenge people by inviting them to change their vision and perspective of reality through his works. We created murals in 4 cities in Argentina (Buenos Aires, Rosario, Mar del Plata and Tandil), depicting stories of migrants and refugees. Urban art invites us to democratize works and open the possibility for more people to be exposed and interact with the creations. In each work we placed a QR code that, when scanned, led to reading the stories behind the mural.
STORIESWe partnered with Efecto Colibrí, who interviewed different migrants and refugees and surveyed, with absolute sensitivity, their life stories, their paths, their motivations and dreams. We seek to build stories that change the narrative regarding migration and refuge, to show that diversity is valuable and that there are more things that unite us than separate us.
RESOURCE PLATFORMWe generated a website to bring together organizations, resources and tools for entrepreneurs who are in Argentina and can learn how to enhance what they do and who to connect with if they need advice or help.
